Radiologic Tech- Urgent Care Float Pool

Overview Location: UCHealth Quincy Medical Center, Aurora, Colorado. Department: UCH Health MG M Urgent Care Occ. FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days. This is a float position requiring the ability to work at the clinics: Quincy, Steele, Sterling Ranch, Castle Rock. The role offers a clinical ladder for promotion from Level I to Level II practitioner. Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 hourly, dependent on experience, float pool and weekend differentials. Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Review patient history and initiate radiographic imaging based on physician orders. Prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition. Respond and report changes in patient condition as appropriate. Implement techniques to yield image clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in radiology. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). ARRT specialty certification(s) if required for the position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for 60 days of hire.
