Your day at a glance

You arrive to a spotless production floor, badge into your cell, and bring up recipes on the SIGMATEK HMI. A quick scan of overnight trends shows a small drift on one station—you tune, verify, and run test pieces before releasing the line. Throughout the shift you rotate between molding, inspection, packaging, and sterilization, keeping output steady and quality uncompromised. When a fault interrupts flow, you dive into alarms, isolate the cause, log your findings, and share the fix with teammates. You review shift data, escalate what needs deeper attention, and mentor a colleague on a new procedure—all while reinforcing a strong safety mindset.

What you’ll do

• Run and monitor highly automated lines across multiple contact lens manufacturing stages: production, visual/automated inspection, packaging, and sterilization.
• Diagnose equipment, process, and automation interruptions; document root causes and corrective actions and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Perform in-process quality checks and adhere to cGMP, FDA, SOP, and site quality systems.
• Analyze production data, shift notes, and process trends to strengthen reliability, throughput, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner closely with production leadership, engineering, maintenance, and quality to remove barriers and optimize performance.
• Support and coordinate preventive maintenance; promptly escalate complex technical issues.
• Train, cross-train, and coach peers; actively share knowledge across crews.
• Champion safe work practices and operational excellence every shift.

Compensation & incentives

• $19.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Night shift differential: $1.25 per hour
• Quarterly bonus target: $500

Schedule options

• Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 2–2–3 rotating pattern with built‑in overtime and planned days off

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in manufacturing; a mix of education, technical training/certifications, and experience is also considered.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability on production equipment.
• Comfort with basic computer applications and eagerness to learn new systems.
• Applied math fundamentals (addition, subtraction).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with overtime when needed.
• Detail orientation, clear communication, teamwork, and a quality-first approach.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, accountability, and resilience.
• Commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.

Preferred

• Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or engineering technology.
• Background in regulated production (medical device, pharmaceutical, or food).
• Hands-on experience with automated machinery.
• Familiarity with cGMP and FDA-regulated practices.

Work environment

• Standing for extended periods with repetitive production/inspection tasks.
• Consistent use of required PPE.
