Manager, Operational Excellence Location: Denver, Colorado (additional locations: Chicago, Illinois). Employment Type: Full time. Job Overview Lead Lean and process improvement initiatives, drive operational strategy, and manage change management to optimize efficiency across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Implement Lean methodologies to drive process optimization and operational efficiency. Facilitate value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other Lean tools. Partner with cross-functional teams to pursue continuous improvement initiatives. Lead Kaizen events and coach teams on Lean principles. Support senior leadership in executing operational strategies that improve key performance metrics. Uncover process inefficiencies and develop actionable insights using data analysis. Explore automation and AI integration to streamline processes and increase operational agility. Drive progress and impact of improvement initiatives, ensuring measurable business results. Assume project management responsibilities for seamless execution of initiatives. Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies. Develop and execute change management plans, including communication strategies, training, and stakeholder engagement. Assess impact of changes and create actionable mitigation strategies. Qualifications 5+ years experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training. Proven ability to leverage data analytics to identify trends and drive informed decision‑making. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams. Professionalism, teamwork, and ability to navigate ambiguity while creating clarity for project teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent (preferred). Change Management certification (preferred). Experience leading Kaizen events and facilitating process improvement workshops. Willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Benefits Competitive salary range: $118,400 - $162,800 annually.
