Showroom Manager - Grove at Shrewsbury

Job Summary Purple is seeking a customer‑service oriented manager to oversee daily operations at a store location. The role involves managing a team of 4‑5 associates, driving sales, and ensuring overall store profitability. Compensation Compensation for this role is $70,000 annually, with eligibility for monthly commissions on qualifying mattress sales per the commission agreement terms and conditions. Responsibilities Drive sales and meet performance metrics through effective sales strategies. Make strategic and operational decisions aligned with company values. Establish clear goals, monitor progress, and track store performance. Take ownership of personal and team sales and performance results. Hold the team accountable for sales performance and productivity. Create optimized store schedules that align staffing with peak times to maximize sales. Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Recruit, hire, and develop top retail talent. Coach, model, and deliver selling behavior that aligns with company strategy. Foster a positive work environment where employees enjoy coming to work. Uphold visual and operational standards and comply with all retail policies. Prepare and set up visual marketing displays and promotional materials. Create a customer‑centric and solution‑oriented environment. Learn and communicate product knowledge to meet customer needs. Lead with company values: safety, community, communication, development, accountability, and innovation. Qualifications High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. 5+ years of retail experience, ideally as a store manager. Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Customer service‑oriented attitude. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Leadership, management, team‑building, and problem‑solving strengths. Understanding of basic business management functions. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Proven competencies in effective communication and management. Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges. Physical Requirements Physical activities may include: ascending or descending ladders, stairs, or ramps; moving in various positions; standing for prolonged periods; reaching, bending, or lifting up to 50 pounds; and operating power tools, as required.
