Intermediate Designer - 3+ Years Experience (NY)

Job Overview Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors is growing and we are looking for the right candidates to be a part of our talented team. We need an Intermediate Designer with over 3 years of experience for our New York office. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across construction, interior design, system design, and more. Location: New York, NY, US. Pay: $70,000 - $110,000 annually. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, Enscape. Create accurate schematics, technical drawings and drafting documentation for various projects. Produce high-quality graphic designs and visualizations for presentations and client proposals. Assist in system design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Utilize CAD tools to develop detailed plans for interior spaces, mechanical systems, or architectural layouts. Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively. Prepare detailed construction documents and coordinate with engineers or contractors as needed. Experience 3+ years of professional experience in design-related roles across architecture, engineering, interior design or related fields. Professional or Master’s Degree from an accredited Architecture program. Residential project experience preferred. Revit experience required. Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite programs. Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering programs. Hand sketching and rendering skills. Familiarity with residential and commercial construction details and methods. Hands‑on approach. Ability to manage and produce a comprehensive Construction Documents package. Eagerness to work in a fast‑paced environment with a high level of responsibility. Fluency in written and spoken English. Legal work status in the United States.
