\nWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join a growing multidisciplinary care team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions through comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatment plans. This role focuses on improving patients' quality of life through interventional procedures, medication management, and coordinated care.\n

Key Responsibilities \n

• Review and discuss medical history with patients to understand their healthcare background and pain-related conditions.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans.
\n
• Perform interventional pain procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and epidural injections.
\n
• Utilize medical devices and imaging equipment such as C-Arm for interventional procedures.
\n
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Prescribe medications when appropriate and manage pain pharmacology responsibly.
\n
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging as required.
\n
• Educate patients on pain management strategies, rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications.
\n
• Collaborate with APRNs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and organized patient medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
\n
• Communicate medical findings and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed.
\n
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices in pain management.
\n
• Advocate for patients' well-being and provide compassionate care.

• Skills & Qualifications
\n
• Strong understanding of pain mechanisms, pain physiology, and pharmacology.
\n
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team environment.
\n
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
\n
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.

• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Education & Experience Requirements \n
\n
\n

\n
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
\n
• Board Certified in Pain Management.
\n
• Dual Board Certification in Pain Management and Anesthesiology (preferred).
\n
• Valid and active Indiana State Medical License (or ability to obtain).
\n
• Experience performing a wide range of interventional pain management procedures.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical medical practice and patient-centered care.
