Our teams work closely with clients and communities across the region, bringing practical solutions and trusted expertise to every project.As a Staff Engineer in the Wastewater Department, you will support wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, technical staff, and clients to assist with project design, analysis, and coordination while continuing to develop engineering experience and technical skills.Assists with the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and technical documents for wastewater infrastructure projectsPerforms engineering calculations and design tasks under the direction of project managers and senior engineersUtilizes engineering software for analysis, modeling, and design developmentSupports construction administration activities, including submittal review, field observation, and documentationCoordinates with surveying staff and engineering technicians to support project developmentAssists project teams in meeting project schedules, budgets, and quality expectationsBachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year programRegistered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examStrong problem-solving and communication skillsInterest or experience in wastewater or municipal infrastructure projects preferredAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamValid driver's licenseCandidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States.At Banner Associates, our culture is grounded in shared values that guide how we work, lead, and grow together.We believe growth comes from being open to learning, challenging ourselves, and stepping outside our comfort zones.
