Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Traveler

Location: Sedona, Arizona

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00), with variable start times of 10 AM, 11 AM, or 1 PM. Weekend requirement includes every other weekend.

Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Traveler will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. This position requires the ability to float to the VVMC Sedona ED as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the emergency department.
• Performing advanced emergency procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and management of trauma patients.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adherence to quality and patient safety standards established by the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3 years of experience in Emergency Nursing.
• Active and unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid compact license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications are required; TNCC certification is preferred.
• Must possess a high level of competence in emergency procedures and patient assessment.
