The Container Delivery role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of containers used in waste management and remediation services. This position involves coordinating the pickup and delivery of various types of containers to client sites, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational flow by managing schedules, verifying container conditions, and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. Attention to detail and adherence to company policies are essential to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role supports the broader mission of providing reliable and responsible waste management solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type used in container delivery.
• Proven experience in driving and operating delivery vehicles safely.
• Basic knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to waste management.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and securing containers.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the waste management or environmental services industry.
• Familiarity with GPS and route planning software.
• Training or certification in hazardous materials handling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple deliveries per day.
• Customer service experience in a logistics or delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery vehicles to transport containers to and from client locations safely and efficiently.
• Inspect containers before and after delivery to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with dispatch and clients to schedule deliveries and pickups according to operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and container conditions using company systems.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and environmental regulations during transportation and handling of containers.

Skills:

The required skills are applied daily to ensure the safe and timely delivery of containers, including operating vehicles in compliance with safety standards and managing physical handling of containers. Communication skills facilitate clear coordination with dispatchers and clients, ensuring schedules are met and any issues are promptly addressed. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations is critical to prevent accidents and maintain compliance during transport. Preferred skills such as familiarity with GPS technology enhance route efficiency and reduce delivery times. Additionally, customer service skills help maintain positive client relationships, contributing to overall operational success.
