Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Flexibility with weekend and holiday shifts is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate a commitment to nursing standards, and exhibit flexibility in assignments across various departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care on a Med/Surg unit.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other units as per facility guidelines based on patient care needs.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.
• Adhere to established protocols for medication administration and patient monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 24 months of Med/Surg experience, with recent clinical experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• BLS certification from an AHA-approved vendor.
• NIHSS certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
