Day shift: 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)

Job Description

The CT Technologist operates advanced Head or Body X-Ray scanners to produce computer-generated cross-sectional images, commonly referred to as CT scans. This role performs routine and special CT examinations adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose while maintaining workflow productivity within set benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized CT exams according to established protocols.
• Complete all exams and necessary documentation accurately in computerized health information and PACS.
• Educate and prepare patients for examinations to enhance understanding and cooperation.
• Demonstrate commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and ALARA principles to enhance patient outcomes and eliminate errors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of a Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program.
• Required certifications include any of the following: RT(R)(CT), RT(N)(CT), NMTCB: CNMT, NMTCB(CT), and combinations thereof.
• BLS (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
