Procurement Specialist / Buyer - Direct Hire

Near Euclid, OH

Salary: Up to $70,000 per year

LHH is seeking a Procurement Specialist / Buyer for a direct-hire opportunity with a growing company near Euclid, Ohio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement professional with experience in purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, and ERP systems who is looking for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor communications
Source materials, products, and services while ensuring cost-effective purchasing and on-time delivery
Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP systems such as Coupa, JDE, or similar platforms
Collaborate with internal departments to support operational purchasing needs
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field required
3+ years of procurement, purchasing, buying, or supply chain experience
Experience with Coupa, JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems preferred
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
