Sr Systems Analyst

Job Summary Design enhancements and new business applications or information systems solutions by integrating technical and business requirements. Act as a technical designer to determine best solutions and produce technical specifications within the constraints of the code environment. Bridge the requirements of the Business Analyst and the Architect to deliver technical solutions that ensure application integrity, security, scalability, and daily availability. Responsibilities Design and specify enhancements and new applications based on technical and business requirements. Identify optimal technical solutions and produce detailed specifications. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to align solutions with business needs. Ensure application integrity, security, scalability, and availability. Participate in requirements definition & management throughout the SDLC. Support rapid prototyping and performance management. Contribute to system design and documentation. Perform system performance management and analytics. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 4 years of IT experience, OR equivalent technical certification and 6 years of IT experience, OR 8 years of IT experience. Knowledge of application configuration. Experience with Big Data Analytics (HAVeN / Hadoop / Autonomy / Vertica). Understanding of Cloud computing and SaaS/IaaS/PaaS technologies. Familiarity with Integration technologies such as Tibco, Informatica, and CAS. Experience with mobile technologies including Phonegap, iOS, Android, Java, and HTML5. Proficiency in scripting languages (BASH, PERL, PYTHON, RUBY). Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, SOAP, and REST. Understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#). Experience in rapid prototyping, requirement definition & management. Knowledge of SDLC methodology (Agile, Scrum, Iterative Development). System performance management expertise. Strong conceptual, creative, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Ability to execute complex database and file management tasks, including VSAM file operations (backup & restore, forward recovery, reorganization, free space tuning). Experience in naming convention standards and special load/report creation. Knowledge of CICS memory, topology, and VR administration. Support and maintenance of database‑related applications such as Blue Chip Term Up and Terminal Operator File transactions. Experience with record locking, early‑morning production file availability, and key range verification. Skill in data flow design, access key design, and disaster recovery support. Proficiency in creating and initializing test databases and test copies of production files. Consultation experience in batch tuning and CICS memory management. Compensation and Benefits Base Pay Range: $92,700.00 – $167,500.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
