This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment at a community hospital known for its strong culture and supportive leadership. The RN Supervisor provides frontline leadership and operational oversight for the Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit. This role supports a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care, while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff on a dynamic Med Surg/Tele Trauma unit Promote a positive team environment , mentoring and developing staff to achieve their full potential Coordinate daily operations including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation Ensure compliance with BSWH policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives Partner with leadership to drive quality, safety, and patient experience goals Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Respond to patient care concerns and assist with clinical decision‑making as needed About the Unit - 4 East Expansion Brand-new Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit Designed to support growing patient volumes and acuity Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program BSN preferred Current RN license in the state of Texas Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care experience , preferably in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Trauma Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and team leadership skills Key Success Factors A solid understanding of nursing standards and patient care procedures. Superb communication abilities and expertise in creating and assessing patient care plans. Familiarity with basic computer operations and diverse medical and office software applications.
