At Outerland, lead gardeners aren't just executors - they're stewards, thinkers, and collaborators. We're seeking an experienced Lead Gardener who wants ownership, variety, and the opportunity to help shape gardens over time. What You'll Do- Lead fine gardening work: pruning, planting, bed care, seasonal maintenance
- Take ownership of assigned properties and support long-term garden planning
- Apply organic and ecological land care practices
- Guide and mentor gardeners and junior gardeners
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Share observations and ideas - feedback from the field matters here
- Assist with snow work and off season maintenance
- Experienced gardeners with strong plant knowledge
- Calm, kind leaders who set a positive tone
- People who are passionate about teaching others the craft of gardening
- Responsible and solution oriented leaders
- Gardeners who value learning and continuous improvement
- Those who care about long-term results, not quick fixes
- Professional gardening or horticulture experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently and making informed decisions
- Physically able to work outdoors in all conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Driver's license required
