Registered Nurse - Long Term Acute Care (RN/LTAC)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to patient changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with specialized procedures and manage advanced medical equipment as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.
• Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic health records, specifically Epic.
• Certifications required: ACLS and BLS.
• Strong skills in patient monitoring, medication administration, and critical care management.

Working Conditions

• Night shift – 12-hour shifts with weekend requirements.
• Floating between similar units may be required based on staffing needs.
• Opportunity for block scheduling where applicable.
