This person will constantly be responsible for successfully integrating safety initiatives into the functional operation of the different projects by maintaining processes and procedures to prevent injuries and violations of the law or company policies and minimize the environmental impact of our operations. About The Role We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Field Operations Manager to join our Division Leadership Team. This is a high-impact operational role that requires extensive travel— up to 50% —to our multiple divisions and project sites across Texas. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong background in steel fabrication, erection, and construction operations who thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment. You will oversee field operations, drive strategic alignment, and ensure that all projects meet our company’s standards for safety, quality, and performance . What You’ll Do Lead and manage field operations across multiple divisions to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality expectations . Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity in steel erection and construction processes . Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards across all job sites. Coordinate and supervise on‑site teams, ensuring effective communication of project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Identify and resolve on‑site challenges promptly to maintain project momentum. Collaborate closely with leadership to align field operations with overall organizational goals and strategic priorities . Prepare and present progress reports and performance updates for key stakeholders. Mentor and develop field staff to foster continuous learning, leadership, and accountability within the team. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in field operations within steel fabrication, erection, or construction sectors. Proven track record in managing complex, multi‑site projects and leading diverse teams. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and industry standards. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively under pressure. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proficiency in English , both written and verbal. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% throughout Texas to support field operations and divisional teams. High level of professionalism, adaptability, and accountability in dynamic environments.
