Medical Transcriptionist

Qualifications:

• RHDS, CHDS preferred but not required
• BLA from the AHA

Responsibilities:

• Converts physician dictations from medical visits, surgeries, and consultations into written clinical documents.
• Reviews drafts created by speech-to-text software to correct grammar, punctuation, and contextual errors.
• Identifies inconsistencies, missing information, or incorrect medical terminology that could affect patient care.
• Enters finalized notes directly into Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while strictly adhering to patient confidentiality guidelines.

Work Schedule:

Full Time, Hours to be determined upon award.
