Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling – Charleston, SCJoin Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Technician in Charleston, SC! Earn $18–$28/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady commercial project opportunities with a national leader in low voltage staffing.We're looking for structured cabling technicians ranging from developing technicians with a solid foundation through experienced Level 2/3 techs who can hit the ground running.ResponsibilitiesPull, route, dress, label, and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cablingPunch down voice and data jacksTerminate and dress patch panelsTest installed cabling using Fluke or similar testing equipmentInstall racks, cabinets, J-hooks, cable tray, and other pathway systemsAssist with MDF/IDF buildoutsRead and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system layoutsMaintain clean, organized cable management and professional installation standardsWork safely from ladders and lifts as requiredSupport fiber optic, access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems depending on project needsFollow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirementsRequirementsCommercial or industrial structured cabling experienceHands-on experience pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cableWorking knowledge of structured cabling installation practicesAbility to use basic low voltage hand toolsComfortable working independently or as part of a crewReliable transportation and dependable attendanceAbility to work safely in active commercial construction environmentsBasic hand tools and PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, gloves, and work bootsOSHA, Lift, and BICSI certifications are a plusWhat We're Looking ForWe're open to different experience levels and will base pay on technical ability.$18–$21/hr: Developing technicians with a solid commercial cabling foundation$22–$25/hr: Experienced technicians comfortable pulling, terminating, dressing, and working independently$26–$28/hr: Strong Level 2/3 technicians with advanced structured cabling skills, testing experience, blueprint knowledge, and the ability to take ownership of assigned workBeyond years of experience, we're looking for technicians who are reliable, professional, coachable, and eager to continue growing their skills.Why Work with Next Level Technician in Charleston, SC?Weekly Pay: Get paid every weekCompetitive Wages: $18–$28/hr based on experience and skillsetPTO and Medical BenefitsSign-On & Referral BonusesCareer Growth: Build your experience across structured cabling, fiber, security, and other low voltage systemsDedicated Recruiter Support: Work with a team that understands the Charleston low voltage marketNational Footprint: Access opportunities with leading low voltage contractors throughout South Carolina and across the U.S.About Next Level TechnicianNext Level Technician connects job-ready low voltage professionals with leading employers nationwide.
