Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program .
• Current ARRT registration required.
• Minimum 3 years of radiologic/diagnostic imaging experience .
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy .
• Demonstrated CT and X-ray technical competency.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with electronic medical records.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to provide quality patient care while following hospital and radiology policies.

Physical Requirements

The position requires moderate to heavy physical activity, including:

• Lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to wheelchair or waist level.
• Move approximately 40 lbs. over a distance of six feet.
• Reach overhead while holding up to 25 lbs.
• Transfer approximately 40 lbs. from wheelchair to bed level.
• Pull approximately 40 lbs. from stretcher to bed.
• Push a 150-lb. loaded stretcher approximately 300 feet .
• Maintain sufficient stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and motor coordination to safely perform job duties.
