SOC Task & Integration LeadThe Opportunity:As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Task Lead, you’re in the middle of the action, responding to and mitigating threats in real time. You’re the first line of cyber defense for your organization, and they look to you for guidance on best practices and security measures. We need a SOC Task Lead like you to help us secure critical infrastructure from the constant onslaught of cyber-attacks against the federal government’s networks.On our SOC team, you’ll oversee efforts to find the advanced threats that are escaping detection by leading teams that analyze logs, forensic data, and threat intelligence. Using your deep understanding of our client’s networks combined with your cybersecurity experience, you’ll analyze patterns to understand attackers’ goals and stop them from succeeding. Once your team finds the adversary in the SIEM’s blind spot, you’ll advise our client on ways to close the gaps and harden their network.Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have:10+ years of experience in an IT or cybersecurity field3+ years of experience leading cybersecurity operations teams, including managing large analyst groups performing monitoring, detection, and incident response3+ years of experience developing enterprise-wide SOC concepts of operations, policies, and proceduresKnowledge of network operations, incident response, and enterprise level detection and monitoringAbility to create and refine organizational processes, documentation, and technical guidanceSecret clearanceHS diploma or GEDCybersecurity Certification such as CISSP, GCIH, GSOC, or GSOM CertificationNice If You Have:Experience supporting implementation of SIEM SOAR and UEBA capabilities and prioritizing automations based on operations signalsExperience supporting SOC solutioning pilots or mission system integrations across federal agenciesKnowledge of enterprise network architectures and SOC technology stacksTop Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related fieldClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
