Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist in a school setting. ProCare Therapy is seeking a Occupational Therapist for a school-based, contracted position near Waterville, ME for the 26/27 school semester. Working 37.5 hours per week, you’ll play an impactful role in helping children reach their fullest potential through dedicated therapy services and collaboration with a committed educational team.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Maine (or eligibility)
• Recent experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
• Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student populations and needs
• Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create individualized therapy plans to support student learning and participation
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, adapting techniques as needed for each child
• Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to promote effective strategies and student growth
• Maintain accurate records, including treatment notes and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on functional and adaptive goals
• Stay informed on best practices to enhance both student outcomes and your own clinical skill set
