Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Cincinnati, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/06/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 6, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 6\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.Details\n \n Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a children's hospital\n Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2\n Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)\n Floating required, including to CICU (CVPICU) and potentially the Liberty campus, with priority given to travelers when census is low\n Blocked scheduling can be accommodated only for weekends (Fri-Sun) if willing to work every weekend\n Epic charting system preferred\n Requirements\n \n Active OH or compact RN license required\n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS\n Minimum 2 years of PICU experience with exposure to CICU required\n Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration\n Must be fully vaccinated with no exceptions\n Additional Information\n \n Provide critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients\n Every other weekend (EOW) work required\n Minimum of 2 holidays worked per contract\n RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total\n First-time travelers welcome to apply, provided they meet the 2 years of specialty experience requirement\n Previous CCHMC employees ineligible to apply for 1 year from their termination date\n Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to local pay rates\n Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day of assignment\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753517.
