You start your morning reviewing the day’s residential and light commercial service calls. With your van stocked and organized, you head out to diagnose a leaky line, interpret a set of drawings, and plan a clean, code-compliant installation around a few tricky obstructions. Midday, you price out a repair, get customer approval, and assemble the right fittings to restore flow. Before wrapping up, you document your work, attend a quick team huddle, and line up parts for tomorrow.

• Troubleshoot, service, and install plumbing systems in homes and light commercial spaces to current code.
• Spot issues early to reduce callbacks and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Maintain, repair, and test systems handling water, steam, fuel, chemicals, and air; verify joints and system integrity.
• Inspect high-pressure, water, gas, air, and steam lines to pinpoint malfunctions.
• Interpret blueprints, specs, and building codes; establish layout and installation sequence around structural constraints.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe; assemble tubing, valves, and fixtures using hand/power tools.
• Mark locations for runs, penetrations, and fixture placements with precision.
• Keep detailed service records, manage time effectively, and submit accurate paperwork promptly.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked vehicle; participate in periodic inventory and truck inspections.
• Care for tools and equipment; follow safe work practices at all times.
• Explain completed work to customers in plain language and ensure their satisfaction.
• Obtain PO numbers for supplier pickups; provide pre- and post-tax costs for accuracy.
• Present pricing and secure customer approval before starting any task.
• Identify and pursue qualified lead opportunities aligned with our business goals.
• Join weekly team meetings and attend company-sponsored training.

• 5+ years of plumbing experience (residential focus preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Field-based role with local travel.
• Exposure to odors related to sewer/water and sounds from power tools.
• Dust and debris are common on job sites.
• Work may occur in extreme weather conditions.
• Extended hours may include daytime and/or evening shifts.

• Operate effectively under pressure; occasional exposure to challenging customer interactions.
• Flexibility to work overtime, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Frequent standing, walking, and climbing of ladders and stairs.
• Regular climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Ability to see clearly at multiple distances, with normal depth perception (with or without correction).
