Echo Tech Opportunity (Echocardiography Technician)

One of our clients in the region has engaged us to help them recruit Echo Techs for their growing team of healthcare professionals. Their state-of-the-art imaging department is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Echo Tech to join their dynamic team.

We seek a dedicated Echo Tech to perform high-quality echocardiographic examinations and contribute to patient-centered care. In this role, you will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information through echocardiography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and other cardiac imaging procedures.
• Ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare and maintain echocardiography equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to review imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures accurately.
• Provide compassionate patient care, addressing any concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from a recognized certifying body.
• Proven experience as an Echo Tech or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques, equipment, and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
