Exciting Opportunity for an OR RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: 7a - 3:30p (8hr Days)
- 13-week assignment
- Weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities required
- Join a dynamic and supportive team!

Requirements:


- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current NYS RN license
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Experienced RNs will have:
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles
- Ability to provide quality patient care
- Capability to assess patient needs (clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual)
- Demonstrate safety awareness for self and others
- Proficient in the safe use of lifts for patient movement
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to function in stressful situations
- Leadership skills with prioritization and delegation abilities
- Charge nurse duties may be required
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical equipment in OR/ASU setting
- Skills in lethal dysrhythmia interpretation
- On-call required with a response time of 30 minutes
