Simulation Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite Simulation Developer to join a team developing next-generation modeling in Quantico, VA . This role is ideal for a software engineer with experience building simulation environments, game-based systems, or virtual training platforms who wants to contribute to high-impact national security programs. Responsibilities of the Simulation Developer Includes: Design, develop, and maintain advanced modeling and simulation applications supporting defense missions. Build and integrate simulation capabilities within larger mission and system architectures. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational subject matter experts to improve simulation fidelity and performance. Develop new features, perform testing and validation, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Support interoperability, mission-focused testing efforts, technical documentation, and stakeholder coordination activities. Qualifications of the Simulation Developer Includes: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related technical discipline 3+ years of software development experience focused on modeling, simulation, gaming, or virtual environments Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, Java, or other programming languages Experience with simulation or game development platforms such as AFSIM, Unity, Unreal Engine, Simio, or Arena Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and collaborative development practices Must hold an active TS/SCI US Government clearance Compensation of the Simulation Developer Includes: Salary range: $150,000 - 160,000 (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave as required by law, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
