What You'll Do

• Provide critical care nursing to adult and geriatric patients with complex diagnoses, including COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, sepsis, and oncologic emergencies.
• Utilize advanced treatments such as mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, arterial pressure and cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and document clinical findings accurately using electronic health records (EPIC preferred).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond swiftly to patient needs and emergent situations during night shifts.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Ohio RN license or compact license applicable in Ohio
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a MICU or similar critical care setting
• Proficiency in Vents, IV Starts, computerized charting (EPIC preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience in a city hospital environment with complex patient cases
