Registered Nurse Maternal and Child Health

Schedule: Varies 7a-7p

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly

Requirements:

• Min of 2 years of recent experience in Maternal and Child Health
• Required AHA BLS & NRP certifications
• Experience in a mother-baby unit
• Ability to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to mothers and newborns in a family-centered environment
• Monitor and assess patients' needs and response to treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create individualized care plans
• Educate families about newborn care and breastfeeding
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit
