One of Swoon's clients in the Heating & Cooling space is hiring a Dispatcher to join their team out of Capistrano Beach, CA!

The goal with this hire is to add someone specifically focused on  dispatch, technician accountability, scheduling efficiency, and keeping the day-to-day operation running smoothly .

This person will be highly involved with the technicians and should be someone they can interact with throughout the day and rely on to help coordinate the administrative side of their jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and organize the daily schedule for service technicians.
• Dispatch and route technicians efficiently based on location, job requirements, and availability.
• Maximize technician productivity and efficiency throughout the day.
• Ensure technicians are assigned to the correct jobs and have the information they need.
• Communicate with technicians throughout the day and help address scheduling or job-related issues.
• Check in with technicians after jobs to ensure all required steps have been completed.
• Make sure technicians have submitted required  quotes, photos, documentation, and other job information .
• Hold technicians accountable for completing administrative requirements associated with their jobs.
• Make outbound calls to customers.
• Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, updates, and other needs.
• Prepare estimates.
• Assist with some Accounts Receivable responsibilities.
• Fill in across different areas of the business as needed.
• Serve as the go-between for customers and field technicians.
• Help identify and resolve issues before they become larger problems.

The biggest requirement is someone who can  hold people accountable while still being a positive and collaborative member of the team .
