Operational Excellence Manager, CIP & Process Optimization

The Operations Excellence Manager, CIP & Process Optimization, is responsible for identifying and improving the outcomes of logistics and operational processes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation
- Carrying out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility
- Design, Install and capital equipment as it relates to process improvement
- Drive value stream mapping to define "As-Is Analysis" and the transition to Future State
- Develop and conduct compliance assessments, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent
Skills & Abilities:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University Five years' related management experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, problem solving and analytical skills
- Training in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation
- Strong leadership skills, experience working in a unionized environment, ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change
- Previous exposure to a low volume high SKU environment
- Ability to work with and influence others in a fast-paced environment, ability to work shifts as required
Certificates & Licenses: NA
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Vizio Aptitude for AutoCAD and Microsoft Access Knowledge of WMS functionality Mathematical Skills : Good mathematical skills
Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal), Spanish a plus Interpersonal communication and language skills (e.g., listening to others, speaking to others, reading, writing). Communication (facilitation skills and very mature communication skills to be able to communicate to all levels in the organization).
Other Skills Public Presentation Deliver trainings and Workshops
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma / Lean Certifications
- E-commerce experience including starting up small to large volume solutions
- Experience in warehouse automation applications (Pick to Light, Automated Sortation, Voice Pick, conveyor design, etc.)

- The employee uses computer and telephone equipment.
- Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
- May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, lifting needed to carry out everyday activities.
- Travel is required for this role domestically and internationally. Must be able to travel by plane and automobile (50%+)

The expected base pay range is $118,000.00 $150,000.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
