Confidential search – AmLaw 50 firm, Washington, DC.
The financial services regulatory practice of an AmLaw 50 firm is adding a mid-to-senior associate or counsel in Washington, DC.
The work
- Bank and nonbank M&A regulatory approvals before the Federal Reserve, OCC and FDIC
- Bank charter and fintech charter applications
- Supervisory and enforcement matters; responses to examination findings
- Regulatory diligence and structuring on bank, fintech, asset manager and sponsor transactions
- Consumer financial regulatory counseling (CFPA/UDAAP, TILA, ECOA, FCRA) as it touches deals and supervision
Profile
- 4–12 years of bank regulatory or financial services regulatory experience at a law firm, a federal banking agency (Fed, OCC, FDIC, CFPB) or a combination
- DC-based or willing to be in the DC office
- Strong academic credentials; AmLaw, midsize or boutique financial services regulatory backgrounds all considered
