Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide individual and group counseling services that align with the clinical needs of clients, using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based methods.

  • Maintain strict adherence to professional standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct as outlined by established guidelines from relevant professional associations.

  • Engage actively in weekly team meetings to discuss case content, strategies for improving client outcomes, and participate in ongoing professional development.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate progress notes post-counseling sessions, ensuring efficient documentation that complies with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to holistic treatment planning and review of provider cases to enhance service delivery.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of community-wide programs designed to foster psychological well-being and resilience among clients.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, facilitating the clinic's goals and operational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving adults and adolescents within the community who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal conflicts, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

  • Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • \n
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to efficiently complete documentation and maintain effective communication with clients and team members.

  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health practices and community resources available for client referral.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health counseling.

  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sun River Behavioral Services offers a competitive salary range of USD $115,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust income, our benefits package includes:
