Project Manager

Job Summary The Senior Project Manager (PM) is a proven high‑performing leader responsible for managing and delivering complex to critical customer‑facing projects. The role focuses on schedule, quality, and cost while ensuring projects meet customer value expectations and align with the iBase‑t Solumina (software) Implementation Methodology (SIM). The PM serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring strategic alignment, governance, and proactive communication. The role also contributes to organizational growth through mentoring, forecasting revenue, and preparing for future program leadership. Essential Functions Own and execute the end‑to‑end project lifecycle, from initiation through closure. Engage and manage executive‑level relationships as a member of the Executive Steering Committee for programs or projects led. Lead high‑to‑critical complexity projects, managing budgets, scope, and stakeholder expectations. Establish and enforce PMO governance structures, roles, responsibilities, and decision‑making processes. Build collaborative relationships that increase customer recognition of the value iBase‑t brings, leading to additional engagements. Forecast project‑related resource utilization, revenues, and contribute to financial planning. Oversee all activities to achieve customer value throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with Resource Managers to properly staff projects. Provide frequent project health updates to internal and external customers as the focal point. Facilitate escalation and gate review processes for all project‑related issues. Work with customers to define and prioritize the product backlog for maximum value. Establish and baseline project Key Performance Indicators and Metrics. Ensure completion of project documentation while managing multiple projects concurrently. Facilitate resolution of escalations and project risks, issues, performance, and baseline KPIs. Ensure all documentation complies with SIM and PMO procedures. Build and sustain collaborative client relationships that promote repeat engagements. Identify and document lessons learned and apply continuous improvement practices. Mentor mid‑level and junior Project Managers as required. Requirements Strong leader with business competencies. Ability to hit the ground running. Self‑starter with strong time management skills and ability to work independently, remotely or at customer sites. PMP / CSM certified preferable. Travel 30‑40% of work time. Desire to keep up with the latest technology and project management trends. Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle. Required Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, project management, IT, or industrial/systems engineering. 7–10 years of industry experience. PMP certification required. Preferred / Desired Experience Data analytics, AI/ML, and modeling desired. PgMP desired; CSM certification desired.
