We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Union, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Use GPS navigation systems to plan and optimize delivery routes Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns and collecting signatures when required Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the supervisor Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies Handle cash transactions accurately when required Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations Strong time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for handling cash transactions Physical ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred Experience with loading and unloading cargo Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required depending on the vehicle type Additional Information Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions Physical Requirements including, but not limited to the following: Standing Most tasks are performed from a standing position Lifting Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5' Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72high Carrying Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray Pushing To move trays which are placed on dollies.
