Bus Driver POOL

Job Title
Applicants are required to complete a civil scan BEFORE being considered for employment. Every bus driver must serve as a substitute driver before becoming a permanent bus driver.
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid Louisiana Driver's License, be able to pass a DOTD physical, drug screen and a criminal background check. Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the general public. Certification classes will be held. Contact the Transportation Department with questions concerning the certification classes.
In addition, the following documents are required in the Personnel Department:
- Social Security Card
- Proof of High School Diploma or College Degree or Teaching Certificate
- Voided Check for Direct Deposit
