We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our small residential carpentry team. This role involves framing, finish carpentry, and various installation and repair tasks across multiple residential projects. The Carpenter will occasionally travel between job sites and collaborate closely with a tight-knit team, with opportunities to advance into supervisory positions.
Responsibilities
- Perform framing and finish carpentry on residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute project plans accurately
- Cut and prepare materials according to specifications
- Install and repair wood structures and fixtures
- Take precise measurements and ensure accurate layout
- Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment
- Comply with safety standards to ensure a safe work environment
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient with carpentry tools and woodworking techniques
- Strong ability to read blueprints and perform measurement/layout tasks
- Knowledge of safety standards and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Effective problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a small team environment
