Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patients' medical conditions. The role requires technical proficiency and thorough understanding of imaging principles to produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Analyze images for quality and completeness, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
• Maintain detailed patient records and document procedures accurately.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to interpret findings and facilitate timely diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sonographic equipment and imaging techniques.
• Possess strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Maintain current CPR and BLS certification.
• Show attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
