Trust & Estate Tax Manager (Path to Partner)
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (On-site / Hybrid options available)
Experience Level: 8+ years in public accounting / Trust & Estate tax
Current Title Requirement: Tax Manager or Senior Manager
Credentials: CPA or EA highly preferred

The Opportunity
Are you a talented Tax Manager feeling stuck in a rigid hierarchy? We are looking for our next firm leader. This is not just a job; it is a direct pipeline to Partner . You will immediately manage an established portfolio of trust and estate clients, working closely with the current partners to transition these relationships over time.
What You Will Do
- Lead Trust & Estate Practice: Oversee complex tax planning, compliance, and consulting for Forms 1041, 706, 709, and complex 1040s.
- Client Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, family offices, and estate attorneys.
- Review & Mentor: Review fiduciary accounting and tax returns while mentoring junior staff.
- Strategic Growth: Participate in firm management and strategic decision-making as you transition into a partner role.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a heavy focus on fiduciary, trust, and estate taxation.
- Current Leadership: You must currently hold a Tax Manager position and be ready to step into a succession-track role.
- Credentials: A licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) is a significant advantage.
- Mindset: Strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and a desire to help shape the future of a growing firm.
