What You'll Do as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with PREMIER THERAPY, you'll play an important role in helping residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities and achieve greater independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve daily living skills and functional independence.

• Help residents improve their ability to perform activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and other essential daily tasks.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.

• Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.

What We're Looking For

• Current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

• Skilled nursing experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
