Revenue Recognition Manager

Role Summary The Revenue Recognition Manager is integral to Corporate and Practice Accounting teams, assisting with all aspects of revenue recognition for each practice. This dynamic role requires a multi‑dimensional skillset, including monthly revenue calculations, detailed operational analyses, and clear communication with Accounting, Finance, Operations leaders, and company executives. Responsibilities Assist with calculation, analysis, and communication of monthly financial, operating, and statistical results, identifying process improvement and automation opportunities. Develop automation within Workday to enable scalable journal entries and shift focus to data validation, error checking, and exception handling. Continuously monitor and maintain Excel templates used to evaluate net revenue and net AR, and related KPIs such as net AR valuation, cash collections versus recorded revenue, drug margin, drug revenue/admin, reimbursement rates versus published Medicare reimbursement. Perform and maintain monthly process to align mapping of charge, payment, and adjustment transaction activity to the correct GL accounts, service lines, cost centers, and physicians. Help with ongoing development and maintenance of Excel‑based and automated tools (Power BI, Rivet, Candid) to monitor RCM performance. Interact with Business Intelligence team to improve data availability, quality and functionality for periodic and ad hoc analyses. Support new partner practice and acquired company integration activities throughout the 4‑6 month onboarding process. Assist in the preparation and presentation of periodic AR hindsight review procedures required to evaluate the Company’s AR positions. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and across multiple teams to complete projects, initiatives and tasks. Take on other applicable projects as assigned and additional responsibilities to help drive the mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer. Required or Preferred Qualifications Understanding of provider care billing data and revenue recognition. Four to six years of experience in finance and/or accounting. Strong financial analytical and computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Experience with Workday ERP (Financials, Prism, Accounting Center) is a significant plus but not required. Experience working with healthcare data strongly preferred, especially provider billing data, claims data, Medicare reimbursement schedules, financial journal entry structure and data, and electronic medical record (EMR) data. Experience and judgment to work collaboratively with Practice leadership to accomplish desired outcomes.
