All About Kids, a premier provider of early intervention and autism services, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Early Intervention Special Instructor/ABA Therapist to join our team in Dix Hills, New York. As a member of our dynamic team, you will provide exceptional services to children with developmental delays and autism, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapies and specialized instruction. Responsibilities  

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to children in their natural environments, including homes and community settings

• Build and maintain positive, therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, supporting them in their journey toward achieving personal milestones. 

• Oversee programming of child to maintain data in the program book and graphing 

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans focusing on development and social engagement 

• Work with team to increase skill acquisition while decreasing interfering behaviors 

• Completing session note, documentation and progress reporting

Requirements  

• MA/MS and New York State certification in any one of the following areas: 

  • Special Education Permanent Certificate 

  • Students with Disabilities Birth - Grade 2 

  • Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) 

  • Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) 

  • Teacher of the Deaf/Vision 

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst 

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) 

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) 

• All experience levels welcome to apply, strong understanding of ABA principles and early intervention techniques preferred 

• Proficiency with computers and electronic billing systems 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and caregivers 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability
