Project Manager

This on-site Project Manager role focuses on leading organizational strengthening initiatives with a strong emphasis on Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development. You coordinate and facilitate cross-functional workshops, strategic planning sessions, and operational readiness activities that enhance organizational capabilities, align leadership, support workforce planning, and drive sustainable execution strategies. You work closely with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure that workshop outcomes and strategic discussions translate into clear, actionable plans that deliver measurable organizational results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and readiness activities for organizational strengthening workshops and related initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning and Development, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
• Facilitate workshop sessions, strategic discussions, stakeholder alignment meetings, and follow-up action planning to drive clarity, commitment, and execution.
• Lead organizational strengthening initiatives focused on workforce planning, leadership development, operational alignment, and process optimization.
• Track project deliverables, action items, risks, dependencies, and escalation items to ensure timely execution and successful outcomes.
• Develop communication strategies and reporting tools that provide clear, concise updates to sponsors and senior leadership.
• Support change management activities and stakeholder engagement efforts to encourage adoption of new processes and organizational alignment.
• Create workshop materials, dashboards, meeting documentation, and post-workshop implementation plans to support ongoing execution and monitoring.
• Identify operational gaps, improvement opportunities, and resource needs to strengthen organizational effectiveness and capacity.
• Collaborate with project teams and business leaders to ensure that workshop outputs and strategic recommendations translate into actionable execution plans.
• Apply HR data management and analytical skills to support decision-making, track progress, and measure the impact of organizational initiatives.
• Leverage AI tools and insights where appropriate to enhance project planning, data analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, regularly reviewing processes and outcomes to refine project approaches and strengthen organizational capabilities.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in project and program management, including developing and managing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational strengthening and organizational development initiatives.
• Strong workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional sessions and strategic discussions.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, including coordinating and aligning HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning and Development, and leadership teams.
• Background in Human Resources operations and talent acquisition strategy.
• Operational readiness experience, including planning and executing initiatives that prepare teams and processes for change.
• Change management skills, with the ability to support adoption and organizational alignment.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with diverse teams and business leaders.
• Risk and issue management capabilities, including tracking dependencies and escalation items.
• Strategic communications skills, including developing communication strategies and reporting tools for senior leadership.
• Continuous improvement mindset, focused on identifying and implementing process and operational enhancements.
• HR data management skills, including the ability to analyze and use HR data to inform decisions.
• Ability to work with AI tools and concepts, demonstrating AI-savvy in support of project and organizational objectives.
• Strong facilitation and meeting management skills, including creating materials, documentation, and action plans.
• Educational Background meeting one of the following: Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree and 8 years of experience, or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Data Management Analyst or similar role supporting HR operations and analytics.
• Ability to design and interpret dashboards and reporting tools for leadership and sponsors.
• Experience supporting workforce planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Comfort working with AI-enabled tools and data-driven approaches to support project execution and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify operational gaps and recommend practical, sustainable solutions.
• Experience in process optimization and operational alignment across functions.

Work Environment

This role is fully on-site and requires regular in-person collaboration with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning and Development, and leadership teams. You work in a professional office environment focused on organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination. The work involves facilitating workshops and meetings, preparing materials and documentation, and using data and technology tools, including HR data systems and AI-enabled solutions, to support project execution and reporting. The environment emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and clear communication, with a culture that values stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, and sustainable operational outcomes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
