SUMMARY The Breeder Operations Manager directs and coordinates the Breeder Operations in the assigned area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Directs Breeder Department operations to ensure the required quantity and quality of hatch eggs are available for hatcheries Implements and monitors all pullet and breeder production programs Directs programs for growing pullets and breeders for all contract growers Monitors the development of all contract pullet and breeder growers as well as the development of the pullet placements, moves, vaccinations and sales to ensure proper hatch egg numbers Reports performance and cost numbers to accounting and upper management Provides oversight and management of Assistant Breeder Manager and Service Tech team Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will have supervisory responsibility. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent & relevant experience AND 5+ years in poultry or related field Previous supervisory experience Preferred Previous Management experience George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
