Assignment Duration

This is a 15-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift (1830 to 0700 am), three twelve hour shifts weekly (36 hours). No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing continuous airway management and support, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management. This role also involves physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management and respiratory support.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
• Consult with physicians regarding patient care.
• Administer CPR and respond to emergency situations.
• Utilize computerized charting and medication management systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License.
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
• RRT preferred; NRP preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care, with the ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• No first assignments considered.
