About the Job

Snow and Jones, Inc. is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver to join our Yarmouth, MA team.

You'll make local deliveries of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, bath, and specialty products to customers throughout the area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced delivery driver who wants steady weekday hours, competitive pay, and a consistent schedule with no overnight travel.

You'll also interact directly with customers, so strong communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 26-foot box truck and pickup truck for local deliveries
Deliver plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, bath, and specialty products to customers
Load and unload materials using liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Carefully handle specialty and luxury showroom products
Verify orders and ensure deliveries are accurate and complete
Follow daily delivery schedules and coordinate with the Branch/Warehouse Manager
Provide friendly and professional customer service at each delivery
Complete vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery records
Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and well-maintained
Assist with warehouse duties when delivery responsibilities are complete

Qualifications

12 years of delivery driving and/or warehouse experience preferred
Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
Clean driving record
Strong commitment to safe driving and workplace safety
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
