Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Role Overview The position supports occupational therapy services by assisting in evaluations, developing activity programs, and implementing treatment plans under supervision. It involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting evaluations and contribute input under supervision. Help plan and execute individualized treatment programs. Support goal setting, prioritize treatment activities, and select appropriate media. Coordinate with other therapists and document progress, evaluations, and attendance. Communicate observations with team members and participate in care conferences. Contribute to staff and student training, including monitoring interns. Qualifications & Skills Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with NBCOT certification. Effective communication skills and visual acuity to perform duties. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred 1-3 years of experience.
