Utility Technician

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Utility Technician based in Richmond, VA. You’ll coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures, conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulations. Provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. Responsibilities Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards Ensure that the workplace is well maintained and clean Maintain documentation either paper and electronic as per site specifics Adhere to 5S and QHSE procedures Work strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures Load and unload rental equipment and materials with large and small forklifts Prepare and verify quality/accuracy of counts of rental equipment prior to delivery Clean and put away rental equipment upon return to service center Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized and up to safety standards Wash rental equipment Inspect and repair cable Qualifications High School diploma/GED or equivalent 0-3 years of experience working in a yard or warehouse Excellent customer service skills Embrace and promote safety culture Positive, self‑starter who enjoys working with others in a fast‑paced environment to deliver consistent quality Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance Able to work overtime, travel and on‑call Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
