Liquor Manager

Overview The Liquor Manager directs and manages all phases of retail liquor store operations. Duties include planning, directing, and controlling store activities. Responsible for maximizing utilization of store personnel through effective scheduling, counseling, training, and supervision. Responsible for cash accountability, accurate bookkeeping and recordkeeping, sanitation, safety, store security, customer service, gross profit, expense control, inventory, shrink, accurate pricing, store signage, and building and equipment maintenance. Responsible for directing staff to include: directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations and supervision. Responsibilities Direct and manage all phases of retail liquor store operations. Plan, direct, and control store activities to maximize efficiency and profitability. Schedule staff effectively and provide counseling, training, and supervision. Maintain cash accountability, accurate bookkeeping and recordkeeping. Ensure sanitation, safety, store security, and compliance with policies. Monitor gross profit, expenses, inventory, shrink, and pricing; manage store signage and building/equipment maintenance. Direct staff workload, coaching, training, performance evaluations, and supervision. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous retail/customer service experience preferred.
