Pediatric Infusion Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (no weekends, no holidays, no on-call)

Job Description

The Pediatric Infusion Center supports a wide range of pediatric specialty services, including infusions and procedural care such as chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody and blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent prioritization and communication skills, along with strong IV skills and experience with IVADs/Ports. Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the center is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusions and provide procedural care for pediatric patients.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient responses to infusion therapies and report any adverse reactions.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NYS RN License
• Two (2) years of experience in pediatrics
• Current BLS certification
• PEARS certification
• APHON certification preferred
